We often speak of the guests we serve but today we let a guest speak to you:
"I was hungry… Really hungry! I hadn't eaten but one meal a day for several months. On some days/nights, I would have sleep for dinner. I came to "Food for the Journey Project" for a free meal, I found fellowship. I came to feed my hungry belly and found friendship. I came to find sustenance and was treated as a family member. Thru this project this "wanderer" has found so much more than just a free meal. I've found friendship, fellowship, hope, understanding and acceptance. With all my heart I thank Charles and his staff of tireless volunteers. They have provided us so much more than just an excellent meal. May God bless you folks and your work but it appears to me he already has..."
